One of my favorite things to do it just veg out in front of the TV for hours. I am a HUGE reality TV junkie and I am absolutely obsessed with the DVR so much so that I don't know if I could live without it. I have a show for every night and because my life is so crazy I often miss my favorite shows and will spend one night catching up on everything. So I thought I would share some of my favorite shows and why i love them so much! Here goes.......

#1. One Tree Hill- I got into this show a few years ago and have been hooked ever since, I'm no doubt a Brooke Davis fan. I have watched the soap opera of this one dating that one's boyfriend and the friendships going through hard times and coming back together. It reminds me of myhigh school friends and my grown-up relationships all at the same time.

#2. Desperate Housewives- Geez, I've watched this show ever since it first came out and cannot stop watching it, I don't have a favorite character but I have loved watching the show as it has evolved over the years. It's kind of at a strange place right now but I'm hoping that it gets better as the season progresses.

#3. Gossip Girl- During the summer that Paige was sick I read everything that I could get my hands on. Paige had started reading the series and I picked it up one day and by the end of the summer had read all of the books that had been released. I love the show and I hope that it doesn't get too crazy as it continues.

#4. Grey's Anatomy- I started seriously watching the show when Lifetime started playing reruns and I watched from the beginning, every afternoon after class and work my sisters and I would hang out in the living room and watch together. My favorite characters are Meredith and Lexie Grey.

#5. Real Housewives of Wherever......currently, it's Beverly Hills but New Jersey has been my all time favorite and New York was great too! Teresa was my FAVORITE New Jersey because she seems so sweet and friendly (when she's not acting psycho) and my favorite New York was Bethenny because I wish I could be as brutally honest as that girl, I just don't have it in me.

This Friday I am sharing a HUGE secret! During the winter my lips, hands and feet get soooo dry and chapped. I could use lip balm and lotion until there was no more and still have that dry feeling. When I was in high school one of my best friends introduced me to bag balm (Sounds gross, right?) and it totally changed my life!

I use Bag Balm for chapped lips, on my hands and feet during the winter, I put it on my cuticles to keep them from drying and tearing, and I also mix it with lotion to make a super-moisturizer. Really and truely it's one of my favorites. I buy mine at walmart on the pet care aisle, the price is not bad and it lasts FOREVER! Try it and I promise you will be hooked for life!

Mr. Bugs

There is no doubt in my mind that I own the cutest and sweetest dog in the entire world, Charlie. Hubby and I bought him when we were still dating (I had begged for a dog for MONTHS before he finally agreed) and over the last two years we have come to love this furry little animal like a person.
He eats supper from his doggy bowl while we eat at the kitchen table, he sits with us and watches tv in the evenings and he sleeps in the middle of our bed (somehow a 20 pound dog can take up most of the room in a king size bed), he cannot stand when everyone is not in the same room- If Hubby is in the living room and I'm in the bedroom he runs back and forth sitting with one for a little bit and then the other.

Although he can make me downright angry on the days when he has taken a roll of toilet paper and torn it into tiny tiny pieces so that it looks as if it has snowed in the living room, chewed the corner off of my brand new pillow, or he wakes me up because he has pooted in his sleep and it stinks so bad I have to move to the other couch, I love him dearly and would not trade him for anything.

Anyone that meets Charlie wants to take him home with them. He has the best personality of any dog I've ever met. He LOVES attention and will act like a maniac if he is being ignored, it gets even worse if we have people at the house and nobody is loving on him. He has so many nicknames Charles, Charlie-Bug, Chuck, Mr. Bugs, Chahley (charlie bit me), every person has their own name for him and he gladly answers to them all.

Todays post is dedicated to my sweet little Bugs, the best dog in the entire world!

Dogs are not our whole life, but they make our lives whole.

A dog is nothing but a furry person

My little dog - a heartbeat at my feet.

A dog doesn't care if you're rich or poor, educated or illiterate, clever or dull. Give him your heart and he will give you his.

The great pleasure of a dog is that you may make a fool of yourself with him and not only will he not scold you, but he will make a fool of himself too.

Favorites Friday!

It's favorite Friday!!!!

My all-time favorite shoes that I own are no doubt, the ugliest. I am a HUGE fan of high heel stilettos and wedges. As most girls know, the more uncomfortable they are, the cuter they are and I am a slave to cute shoes!!!

I can only wear my 3 1/2 inch pumps so much on the weekends while running around working events, running up and down the stairs checking on things. Normally I spend my Sundays with blistered and bruised feet.

While Hubby and I were on our honeymoon in Destin, Florida we were shopping in the commons and came across the Crocs Store. He wanted to go inside and check out their flip flops. I am not going to lie, I am a shoe snob and I think that Crocs are the ugliest shoes in the ENTIRE world. So I begrudgingly go into the store and walk around with my arms folded when I suddenly see this not-so-ugly pair of shoes and just for laughs I dropped one on the ground and slipped my foot in.......instant heaven!!!!!

These ugly little shoes are without a doubt the most comfortable shoes in the entire world!!!

OK, so they aren't hideous, but they definitely aren't the cutest shoes in the world.

You can check them out @ www.crocs.com , they are called the Marnie and are only $39.99- they come in black, brown and pinkish-purple

Happy Birthday Hubby!!!!!

Happy 27th Birthday to my sweet husband!!!

Somewhere around this time 2 years ago I was blessed with the most wonderful man that a girl could ask for. He is sweet and kind and truly the most self-less person that I know. He is a true outdoorsman and has me out doing things that I never thought I would. He has a heart of gold and a sense of humor that can make me laugh even in my worst of moods. He has the soul of an old man and likes the way things were "way back when" even though he was there. He's so incredibly smart and the person that I always go to for advice, he has the most honest way of putting things. He takes care of me and spoils me to death, there is not one thing that I have ever wanted that he didn't make sure happened for me. He is my soulmate.

They always say that it's when you finally stop looking for true love, that's when it happens.....it was no doubt the last thing that I wanted to hear but it's true. I was just shy of turning 23 when I finally decided that I didn't need a boyfriend to make me happy, I had very wonderful fun friends that were great to me (and still are to this day). I went a few weeks with my newfound freedom and felt like the most independent lady ever. It was a really great feeling, finally deciding to be single rather than settling for it.

One night one of my very good friends was telling me about one of her friends who had a guy friend that had a cute roommate (confused?? I was too!) So we decided that we should go out to Antoons (if you ever went to college in Natchitoches, you've been there and if not you missed out) so we went and sat on the patio to chat and sip our beverages. We were having a really great time when one of the girls saw another one of the guys and said " Oh Sara, He's cute you could date him" All of the sudden the guy drunkenly grabs one of the chairs and throws it across the patio....I politely looked at her and said "No thank you, I'll pass"

After the chair chaos, here comes this sweet looking boy slowly walking toward the patio to see what all the commotion was about (he had on jeans, boots, a t-shirt and a baseball cap, laid back country boy......totally cute and totally my type!) He made his way over to the group and sat down in one of the empty chairs and of course, it was broken..so he wobbled around in it until he got steady and then, the most amazing thing happened.....he smiled. I know, it's cheesy but that was the cutest smile I had ever seen. I remember it to this day and I still see it every now and then but usually when I've done or said something dumb, crooked to one side where it makes him have one dimple but it still shows his pretty teeth. I was totally and completely hooked.

For some reason, I cannot for the life of me remember the first time that I ever met anyone of my friends, except Kendall. I even remember exactly what he was wearing. It's so weird but it's really cool. I have to think that somehow my heart knew he was the one and my mind knew to soak that moment up. As time went on I learned more and more about him, not finding one thing wrong with him or anything I didn't like about him. He quickly became my very best friend, the one I wanted to call when I was having a horrible day, when something really great happened and also just when I wanted to talk. Slowly but surely, I fell in love with the sweet country boy who just happened to show up at the right place at the right time.

We are MARRIED!!!!

YAY!!!! Now I am officially Mrs. Sara Thomas! It's so nice to finally be married. Our wedding was a true fairytale day. It was more than I ever could have imagined it being with lots of treasured suprises from my parents and moments with the most special of friends. As a little girl I dreamed and dreamed of what my wedding day would be like and never in a million years did I ever think that it would be as perfect as it was. I'll be posting lots more pictures but here are a few that my wonderful senior portrait photographer took during the wedding!

I continuously thank God for blessing Kendall and me in the ways that he has. We had a wonderful honeymoon and came back to move into our beautiful new home! We have been busy little bees trying to get everything organized and in it's proper place. It's so amazing to come home to a beautiful house that is ours. Just about every day we look at each other and say "Can you believe this is really our house?" We are downright giddy!
